About
Boath House is a Georgian house set beside its own lake near Nairn, offered on an exclusive-use basis so a wedding here means the whole property, not just a hired room. The dining room seats up to 32 guests, and ceremonies can be arranged as religious, civil or humanist, held in the pillared hall, the lounges, or lakeside when the weather allows. Seven individually decorated rooms plus two garden cottages give guests somewhere to stay on site, and the kitchen builds menus around local and seasonal produce rather than a fixed banquet format. The lake itself, with its resident swans and reflections of the house, has become one of the most photographed backdrops among Highland wedding venues.
