fforest is a 200-acre woodland farm above the Teifi Gorge near Cardigan in West Wales. Its main business is larger exclusive-use weddings, but in March and November it opens a handful of midweek dates for smaller weddings from 40 adult guests, so it suits the fuller end of a small wedding. Every wedding is a two-night exclusive stay, so everyone has time to arrive, settle in and enjoy being together. You can marry outdoors among the ancient oaks or in one of the covered spaces, then sit down to a generous shared feast of seasonal, locally sourced food from the in-house kitchen in the Lodge Barn or Cedar Barn. The evening moves from drinks around the fires to music and dancing in the Cedar Barn. Guests stay together across the farmhouse, the Crog Lofts, the domes and the shacs. Dates are few, so it is worth asking early.
