Hafod Farm is a historic country wedding venue nestled in the heart of the Conwy Valley within Snowdonia National Park. Set around 16th-century listed buildings, including a 500-year-old Grade II listed Tall Barn, the farm combines authentic rural charm with stunning natural scenery. The venue features converted period buildings offering on-site guest accommodation, allowing couples and their guests to stay together throughout the weekend. Winner of the 2025 North Wales Wedding Awards for Best Venue (Non-Hotel), Hafod Farm is known for its flexibility, welcoming atmosphere, and picturesque backdrop ideal for celebrations and photography.

Hafod Farm runs its weddings over two days and the whole place is yours for the stay: you arrive the day before and leave the day after, so a Saturday wedding means Friday to Sunday and a Wednesday wedding means Tuesday to Thursday. Weddings happen all year round. The ceremony takes place in the Tall Barn, where the two registrars and any photographer count towards the numbers, and the celebration then moves to the New Barn, built in 2018, with its licensed bar, a lounge of Chesterfield sofas and a part-covered patio with a fire pit.

This is a venue where you bring your own team. Couples book their own caterers and entertainment and dress the barns themselves, with a catering kitchen on site for whoever you hire. What the farm does provide is a fully staffed bar for the day and evening, a wedding planner from six months out and a senior member of the team running things on the day.

Staying on site is a big part of the experience. The Cart Barn, which sleeps up to four, is included as your honeymoon suite for both nights. Everything else can be added and handed out to family and friends: a farmhouse of around 300 years old for eight, the Grade II listed Stables and the more modern Shippon for six each, then the Dairy and a wood cabin with views of the Eryri hills for four each. In summer, four glamping tents add space for another eight, so a wedding of 40 could have almost everyone sleeping on the farm.

The farm is on Betws Road at Llanrwst in the Conwy Valley, inside Eryri National Park. The main caveat is budget and planning time, since catering is not part of the package and you will need to source it yourselves. The venue also mentions midweek and off-peak deals, which are available by email.
