Homme House is a Grade II* listed country house wedding venue in Herefordshire, set within 180 acres of gardens, historic parkland and woodland with views of the Malvern Hills and Cotswolds. Family-owned and operated since 2004, it offers exclusive use celebrations in an elegant yet relaxed setting with no corkage fees. The venue accommodates a limited number of weddings annually, providing flexibility for personal celebrations in a warm, welcoming home environment. On-site accommodation includes 15 bedrooms across the Georgian main house, 18th-century Coach House, and romantic 17th-century Summerhouse.

Homme House hosts a limited number of exclusive-use weddings each year, from small ceremonies to full weekend gatherings, and its licensing makes it unusually flexible for small ones. Four indoor spaces hold civil ceremony licences, including the Hall for up to 25 and the Summerhouse Upper Chamber for just 12, so a tiny ceremony never feels lost. Outdoor vows can happen in the walled garden, on the lawns or under beech trees in the woodland, always with an indoor backup. For a church wedding, the 13th-century St Bartholomew's in Much Marcle is about a kilometre away.

There are no set menus and no house caterer. At weekends you can bring in any caterer you like, while midweek weddings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, capped at 60 guests, use one of three preferred caterers with a sustainability focus. There is no corkage, so you can supply your own drinks for a free bar, though you will need to arrange staff and glassware. A buffet works well for groups under 40, and tableware and linen are hired separately.

Up to 34 people can stay across the Georgian main house, the 18th-century Coach House and the 17th-century Summerhouse, which is only available from May to September. A weekend booking runs from Friday morning to Sunday lunchtime, which gives a small group a proper house party. There is a continental breakfast on the wedding morning and a cooked option the day after, served in the dining room. Ledbury station, with direct trains from Birmingham and London, is about six miles away.

There are no minimum guest numbers or minimum spend, which is rare. The caveats are the house rules: music must finish by 11.45pm, non-resident guests leave at midnight, garden music must be unamplified and guests cannot bring pets, though your own dog can join you with a handler. Accommodation is charged on top of the venue fee.
