Temple House is a Georgian manor on a 1,000-acre working estate near Ballymote, looking out over its own lake and the ruins of a Templar castle. The house is taken exclusively for one wedding at a time, and couples can book an intimate gathering of 12, or a small weekday wedding of up to 30 guests on a Monday or Tuesday. Ceremonies happen in the gardens, by the lake or in the manor's gallery. Ten bedrooms sleep up to 20 guests, with a separate cottage for 8 more. Catering runs from canapes and a buffet through to a full sit-down dinner. It suits couples who want a real family home rather than a hotel, with the same family still living there.
