The Old Rectory is a Georgian country house on the shore of Fenagh Lake near Ballinamore, and it deliberately only takes on a handful of weddings a year. Couples get exclusive use of the whole house for 12 hours, with a maximum of 50 guests, and can marry on the front lawn looking over the lake or indoors in the Carriage House if the weather turns. Eighteen guest rooms across the main house, courtyard apartments and a cottage mean the wedding party can stay together, with an outdoor hot tub for the morning after. A professional wedding planner is required for every wedding here, which keeps each day genuinely bespoke. It suits couples who want a lake view, mature gardens and a country house that still feels like a family home.
