Iscoyd Park is a private country house wedding and events venue located on the borders of North Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire. This grand Georgian manor house seamlessly blends classic elegance with contemporary style, set within beautiful gardens and acres of parkland. The venue offers multiple rooms for ceremonies, receptions, and celebrations, with passionate owners and a dedicated team committed to flexibility and personalized service. Whether hosting intimate gatherings or larger celebrations, Iscoyd Park delivers sophisticated events in a warm, homely atmosphere.

Iscoyd has been home to the Godsal family since 1843, and the current generation still lives in the house with their children. Only one wedding happens at a time, so the house and gardens are yours alone, typically from midday until ten the following morning. You can also book two or three days, adding a dinner the night before or a lunch the day after, which works nicely when your guest list is short and everyone wants more time together.

For a smaller wedding, the spaces to look at are the Coach House and the Drawing Room. The Coach House, recently redesigned with exposed beams and whitewashed brick, is licensed for ceremonies and seats up to 60 for a meal. The Drawing Room, with family portraits, a marble fireplace and tall Georgian windows, is a lovely setting for a more intimate ceremony. If you prefer a church service, St Mary's sits on the edge of the estate beside a small brook, and outdoor ceremonies at the Pigeon House are possible when the weather behaves.

Food is taken seriously. Head chef Jason Hodnett, who has competed on Professional MasterChef and Great British Menu, runs the kitchen. Menus change with the seasons and use local suppliers, and you can mix dishes or ask for something bespoke. Each couple gets a tasting, usually held in the winter before the wedding.

There are 18 bedrooms on the estate, nine of them en suite doubles in the main house plus stable rooms, a three-bedroom cottage and a showman's wagon by the lake, with four more doubles in a cottage nearby. All rooms are booked on a bed and breakfast basis and you choose who sleeps where, so a wedding of 30 or so could have almost everyone staying on site. The gardens, designed by Xa Tollemache, come with croquet and other lawn games for guests.
