Copdock Hall is an exclusive-use barn wedding venue in Suffolk, centered around a Grade II listed Elizabethan barn featuring soaring oak beams and abundant natural light. The venue offers a romantic countryside setting with a sun-drenched courtyard, vineyard views, and gardens suitable for ceremonies and celebrations across seasons. On-site accommodation includes a farmhouse sleeping up to 17 guests with 8 en-suite rooms, plus a honeymoon suite. The flexible spaces accommodate both intimate gatherings and weekend-long celebrations, with complimentary parking and comprehensive event support.
Copdock Hall sits on Church Lane in the village of Copdock in Suffolk, and only ever hosts one wedding a day, so the barn, courtyard, gardens and vineyard are all yours. The listed main barn is the centrepiece, but there are several other places to say your vows: an open-fronted barn, a quieter courtyard barn, a pergola in the garden or out among the vines. St Peter's Parish Church is a short walk down a lavender-lined path if you want a church service, and the team will introduce you to the warden. The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships and is happy to host celebrant-led ceremonies too.
All the food is cooked in-house, and outside caterers are not an option. The kitchen sources more than 80 percent of its fresh produce from within 30 miles and offers anything from a classic three-course meal to a five-course tasting menu or sharing platters, with a tasting session beforehand. The estate makes its own wine from the vineyard, so you can pour your own white or sparkling rosé after the ceremony. All alcohol comes through the venue.
The Farmhouse beside the barn sleeps 17 in eight en-suite rooms across two wings, with an open-plan kitchen for gathering, and it is included in every wedding package. Breakfast comes with the stay. Carriages are at midnight.
The main thing to know for a small wedding is scale. The barn seats up to 180 and the packages are built around larger day guest numbers, so a party of 30 will feel the space, and it is worth asking how the team sets the barn for smaller numbers. The night before is usually not included, though couples get first refusal if it is free five months out. Main spaces are step-free with accessible facilities, and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
